Who are we?

First Baptist Church of Pascagoula consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and backgrounds. Whoever you are, you can be assured of a warm welcome at First Baptist Church. It’s like coming home!

When to arrive:

If it’s your first visit, then we would love to see you at 9:45am for Small Groups Bible study. There is plenty of free parking and you will be greeted at the door by our Welcome Team who can direct you to the appropriate Small Group. If you are planning on simply attending the worship gathering for your first visit, you may join us in the Worship Center at 11:00am.

What to wear:

This is easy. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. There may be some people in shorts and a t-shirt, others in suits, and everything in between. Just come in tasteful clothing and you are all set.

What to expect:

Going anywhere for the first time can be nerve-racking. But don’t worry, we aren’t super-spiritual beings! We've all had a ‘first day at church' experience. You will likely find that we are a friendly bunch, so if you don’t understand something, just ask!

Small Groups begin at 9:45am with a few minutes of catching up before the study begins. Sunday worship gatherings are at 11:00am and consist of a variety of songs, scripture readings, and a sermon. A nursery is provided for all services.

Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years that you would be encouraged to become more like Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that you leave FBC having encountered and worshipped Jesus and that all we do here points others to Him.


What we believe:

We are a Christian church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We have friendly relationships with other local churches from differing denominations. Our basic beliefs come from the Bible and are outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
