WOM (Women on Mission) has been active in FBC since 1904. WOM's primary focus is on mission work dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ on the local, state, national and foreign levels. Monetary goals are set and promoted, annually, through church-wide offerings for Mississippi, North America and International missions. Locally, WOM engages with the following ministries: BSU, PROMISS, Seafarers, Disaster Relief, FBC Food Pantry, Backpack Buddies as well as local elementary schools by providing clothing assistance. 

WOM's Hemmed in Prayer Ministry sews children's clothing, diapers and tote bags which are sent all over the world with various mission teams as they spread the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.

General Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month (except July) at 10:00am or 2:00pm and Hemmed in Prayer meets on the third Tuesday at 8:30am. Speakers for General Meetings include people from local Ministries and/or Missionaries.
