WOM (Women on Mission) has has been active in FBC since 1904. WOM" primary focus is on missions dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ on local, state, national and foreign levels. Monetary goals are set and promoted annually through church-wide offerings for Mississippi, North America and International  missions. Locally, WOM engages with these ministries: BSU PROMISS, Seafarers, Disaster Relief, FBC Food Pantry, Back Pack Buddies and Elementary Schools in Clothing assistance. 

WOM's Hemmed in Prayer Ministry sews children's clothing, diapers and tote bags which are then sent all over the world with various mission teams, spreading the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.

General Meetings held on the  first Tuesdays of every month-- except July-- at 10:00 A.M. or 2:00 P.M., and hemmed in Prayer on the third Tuesday at 8:30. Speakers for General Meetings are people from local Ministries or Missionaries
